We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Bang's Bistro. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to ensure that we deliver exceptional customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
