Commercial Banking Specialist

The Cash Management Sales Officer is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. This role necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy and primarily affects a sub-function. The officer is responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Key responsibilities include actively calling on clients in partnership with Relationship Managers to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to, and anticipating future needs, challenges, or risks, in addition to identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with Citi's value proposition.
The role drives innovation on the solutions provided to clients while structuring deals to balance risk and reward. The officer shares knowledge with other sales consultants and junior staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies/guidelines at all times. The officer appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements include 10+ years of commercial banking experience, preferably within roles of increasing responsibility. An undergraduate business degree is required, potentially a Master's degree. The officer will be part of the Commercial and Business Sales job family group, with a focus on Commercial Product Sales.
