About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager to join our team in Calgary, Medicine Hat or Lethbridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial banking and be able to promote the development and profitable growth of the portfolio in their assigned market area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote the development and profitable growth of the commercial banking portfolio in an assigned market area
  2. Build and maintain a market profile in an assigned market area with both internal and external contacts
  3. Manage an assigned credit portfolio for authorizations up to $5MM at an acceptable level of risk
  4. Develop and implement a marketing strategy to maximize business development opportunities for sustainable growth
  5. Develop sales plans for prospects and existing customers
  6. Identify prospects/referrals from other internal/external networks
  7. Analyze prospect lists and prioritize business development opportunities based on market data and customer analytics
  8. Partner with internal resources for non-credit related products
  9. Refer customers and prospects to the appropriate Commercial Banking segment and partners as appropriate
  10. Plan and complete relationship activities that generate sales opportunities and/or provide value to clients
