Job Title: Indigenous Community Liaison Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and culturally sensitive Indigenous Community Liaison Specialist to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. In this role, you will work closely with our community partners to conduct surveys, research, and administrative tasks that support our mission to provide culturally safe and respectful services to Indigenous peoples.

Native Counselling Services of Alberta is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing culturally safe and respectful services to Indigenous peoples. We are committed to building strong relationships with our community partners and stakeholders to promote the well-being and self-determination of Indigenous peoples.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys and research to better understand the needs and concerns of Indigenous communities
- Develop and implement questionnaires for social survey research
- Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share knowledge and best practices
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and services
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision care benefits.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. The successful candidate will also need to have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
