Job Title: Education Sector Liaison Specialist

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum

Job Description:

This role involves ensuring seamless operations of school runs and delivering outstanding customer service to our stakeholders, comprising driving staff, public, and schools we serve. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor bus routes and create or update schedules as needed
  • Distribute final schedules to dispatch, drivers, and attendants upon approval from the board
  • Communicate route vacancies to relevant departments
  • Assign drivers and attendants to open routes
  • Serve as a liaison between schools, parents, and CB Canada to resolve inquiries and concerns efficiently and professionally
  • Attend driver meetings at schools and board meetings as required
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong map reading skills with thorough knowledge of the city's road systems, locations of schools, and major attractions
  • Class 2 driver's license considered an asset
  • Comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Working Conditions:

The Education Sector Liaison Specialist role is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, with regular working hours falling between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. Flexibility is essential for success in this role.
