About the Role:

  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices to client engagements.
  • Partner with First Nations clients and Indigenous-led organizations to meet specialized accounting and reporting needs.
  • Conduct external and internal financial statement audits for public and private entities.
  • Provide guidance to field engagement teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Analyze complex accounting issues and financial systems.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including travel to First Nations communities.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of the CFE or working towards a CPA designation.
  • Experience with a public accounting firm.
  • Experience working directly with Indigenous communities, governments, and associations.
