We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada in Edmonton, AB.

Job Overview

This is a strategic leadership position that requires a strong leader to oversee the operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and formulating policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage a team of 5-10 people and provide guidance on career development.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions.
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
