Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business growth strategies to drive revenue and expand our client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on commercial banking products and services, including credit, cash management, and investment solutions.
- Develop and manage complex business relationships, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and negotiating and closing deals.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to ensure we are providing the best possible solutions to our clients.
- Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management on business performance and growth opportunities.
- Typically between 5-7 years of relevant experience in commercial banking or a related field.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency in commercial banking products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
