About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at 570 The Dominion of Canada General. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the business insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and other business partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced team members to ensure consistent delivery of sales performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales, with a proven track record of business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Strong relationships with brokers, agents, and other business partners in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
