We are seeking a skilled and organized Cook to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and ensuring timely execution
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Organize and manage kitchen operations, including buffets and banquets
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and able to multitask, with strong communication skills
