Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sand Castle Steakhouse. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high culinary standards
* Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
* Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels
* Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow and quality control
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
* Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Equivalent experience may be considered

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

* Hours: 40 hours per week
