Senior Change Management Consultant

This is a $112,280.5 per year opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Toronto seniors and residents in long-term care homes. As a Senior Change Management Consultant, you will lead the development and delivery of programs and services to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within the division. You will also establish and track annual progression embedding equity, diversity, and human rights in the delivery of programs and services.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing change management initiatives in long-term care within either public or private sector organizations. You will be able to work and communicate with senior leaders in an advisory capacity, particularly in addressing their role in effective change leadership. Your ability to establish, build, and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders will be crucial in meeting corporate objectives.
You will lead project-specific stakeholder management, including conducting and documenting stakeholder change impact assessments. You will also define and measure success metrics and monitor progress for assigned projects. Additionally, you will develop an approach to embed/institutionalize the change to sustain the benefits achieved, including knowledge transfer, performance management, continuous improvement, and other related practices. Ultimately, your goal will be to champion workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion within the City of Toronto's Seniors Services and Long-Term Care Division.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Change Management Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our division, you will contribute to the evolution of the Centre of Excellence and provide insights, recommendations, and training across the divisional portfolio. You will work closely with corporate Human Resources, Equity, Diversity & Human Rights, and other divisions and agencies to design and implement a corporate training strategy to advance the Toronto Action Plan to Confront Anti-Black Racism. You will also support the divisional effort on the Reconciliation Action Plan and its work with the Indigenous Affairs Office.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and execute change management initiatives to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within the division
Lead project-specific stakeholder management, including conducting and documenting stakeholder change impact assessments
Define and measure success metrics and monitor progress for assigned projects
Develop an approach to embed/institutionalize the change to sustain the benefits achieved, including knowledge transfer, performance management, continuous improvement, and other related practices
Champion workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion within the City of Toronto's Seniors Services and Long-Term Care Division
Requirements:
Extensive experience in developing and executing change management initiatives in long-term care within either public or private sector organizations
Ability to work and communicate with senior leaders in an advisory capacity, particularly in addressing their role in effective change leadership
Ability to establish, build, and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders
Strong understanding of senior care, social services, and broader healthcare industry relevant international knowledge and direct-care experience considered an asset
Well-developed mediation, negotiation, and facilitation skills at a senior level to provide leadership and gain consensus on competing priorities, with the ability to impact and influence others
Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize responsibilities, and produce results
