Change Management Consultant - Contract: Up to 12 Months

Are you a multifaceted individual looking to help the LCBO increase change capability? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organizational Change Management, the Change Management Consultant will lead and participate in cross-organizational project teams to fully integrate change management activities into project plans. By developing and maintaining a thorough Change Management project schedule, you will lead and execute change management activities to help meet the planned benefits of projects by increasing employee adoption and usage. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement change management strategies leveraging LCBO methodology and tools in partnership with the business and program management teams. You will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. You will serve as change agent, business partner, coach, and facilitator to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. Your experience and role are vital to project success, and you bring lessons learned from each project to shape the ongoing development of internal LCBO change management tools.

About the Role
- As the project’s workstream change lead, plan and coordinate the necessary change management activities in line with the project/program scope
- Drive the change management process and guide business resources as needed to execute all change management results throughout the project/initiative lifecycle.
- Develop and execute change management practices in the context of assigned project(s) ranging in scope/impact from smaller department-level programs to enterprise-wide initiatives potentially impacting up to 8,000 employees.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, assessing people risks and document mitigating actions.
- Support change management status reporting where required, proactively identify and address issues and risks; develop appropriate interventions
- Partner with Project Teams, Corporate Communications, Human Resources (Business Partners, Talent Management, Learning & Development), Sponsors and Stakeholders to develop and execute coordinated change and communications plans.
- Partner with the LCBO to evolve change management methods and tools to advance change management practices
- Facilitate working sessions as needed to support the completion of deliverables for assigned projects.
- As needed, create and facilitate training to build organizational awareness, desire, and knowledge of how to effectively plan and support change.

About You
- _ University Degree in Psychology, Communication, Business or Related Field_
- _ 3+ years experience in a lead or specialist-level role within a large-scale change initiative where you have liaised with business teams, built and managed change plans that are fully integrated into the overall project plan, and played a hands-on role in drafting and executing key change management deliverables_
- _ A proven understanding of fundamental Change Management methods and deliverables achieved through a Change Management Certification or equivalent working experience_
- _ Working understanding of software development lifecycle methodology, Agile, and other project implementation methodologies to predict and align the dependencies between technical and people-change activities_
- _ Comfortable with enterprise-level IT and/or transformational business process implementations, knowing how to avoid jargon and crafting clear, meaningful messages._
- _ Subject matter expertise in either communications or end-user training considered an asset_
- _ Proficient and proven expertise across all core Microsoft tools (including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel), specifically: (1) Able to produce polished presentation materials with limited supervision, and (2) Fully conversant in working in and creating spreadsheets for change management tracking, data analysis, and producing report summaries_
- _ Ability to develop and execute change management programs for medium to large scale change efforts and persuasively present to and influence executive management_
- _ Establish and maintain positive relationships and represent the business in change planning_
- _ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills_
- _ Adaptable, resilient, and able to work in ambiguous/changing environments_
- _ Demonstrated problem solving and root cause identification_
