Job Summary

WARIS CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring timely and efficient communication with stakeholders.
  • Communication and Reception: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients and colleagues.
  • Document Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Perform data entry tasks and assist with basic bookkeeping functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Operations Support: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily office operations, ensuring seamless workflow and productivity.
Support for Diversity and Inclusion
  • Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations to ensure equal access for all employees and clients.
  • Mentorship and Training: Participate in mentorship programs, provide awareness training, and facilitate access to community resources to support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in administrative support roles.
