About the Role:

As a Senior Category Manager at Amazon Canada, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end experience for our Canadian customers. This is a fast-growing business where our model is evolving with technology and industry trends. In this role, you will work directly with vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience across their business. You will play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and topline performance for their category.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define the vision and business strategy for the category, including North Star metric(s) and KPIs for measuring results
- Manage category P&L and develop plans that drive revenue and margin improvements
- Develop vendor relationships, including terms negotiations and growth-focused initiatives
- Drive broad adoption and provide an unparalleled customer experience

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience with Excel
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
