Category Executive RoleAs a Category Executive, you will play a critical role within our Marketing Activation and Customer Solutions team. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and meet customer objectives.
Main Responsibilities- You will analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop comprehensive category reviews by integrating data from various sources, including Nielsen and Retailer POS.
- Synthesize insights into compelling selling stories, business reviews, and category analysis.
- Work collaboratively with account teams on sales call approaches and plans.
- Implement annual plans agreed upon with customers, ensuring activations align with brand strategies and Perfect Store tools elevate the category.
- Develop planogram concepts for assigned retailers and conduct post-mortem analyses of programs to evaluate successes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- You must have at least 3 years of progressive experience in category management, data analysis, consumer research, statistics, or sales in the CPG industry.
- You should possess a bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field.
- You should have a proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software.
- You should have working knowledge of Nielsen IQ, JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning software, and Retailer POS experience is an asset.
- You should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position reports to the Sr. Customer Solutions Manager and is based out of Toronto.
