Senior Category Manager, Automotive, Amazon Canada

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced business leader to join our Hardlines category team on Amazon Canada. The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for managing the P&L and setting the strategic direction for a large and diverse business within the Hardlines category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the P&L and set the strategic direction for the Hardlines category
- Work with highly strategic vendors to drive their business towards the next phase of growth
- Analyze data to identify key brands to target
- Build long-term relationships with key vendors
- Resolve any operational, logistical, or business issues
- Lead negotiations on Amazon's behalf
Requirements:
- 5+ years of account management, project, or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
- Prior experience in retail buying, merchandising, or planning
