Responsibilities
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to improve efficiency
  • Develop new recipes and menus that meet quality standards
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
