Pearson Convention Center is a leading events venue seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Executive Chef to oversee menu development, kitchen operations, and food preparation. As an ideal candidate, you will have extensive experience in managing culinary teams, estimating food costs, and maintaining high-quality standards.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Evaluate and develop new menus, taking into account seasonal availability of ingredients, cost-effectiveness, and customer preferences;
  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation;
  • Estimate labor costs and manage kitchen inventory to minimize waste and optimize resources;
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform menu decisions;
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and sales;
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff;
  • Collaborate with event planners to design customized menus for conferences, weddings, and other events;
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for large-scale events;
  • Supervise sous-chefs, specialist chefs, and cooks to ensure seamless execution of culinary tasks;
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling practices;

**Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader;
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing menus that drive revenue growth;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data and market trends;
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods;
