Diversity and Inclusion Director

McCarthy Tétrault is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Inclusion Now strategy and drive a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy, aligned with the firm's goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to indirect reports, promoting inclusive practices and behaviors throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training programs, workshops, and events that foster a culture of inclusion and respect.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, best practices, and areas for improvement in diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and community organizations to advance the firm's diversity and inclusion goals.
- Manage and analyze demographic data and metrics to inform diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization and externally.
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, administration, stakeholder management, and communication.
- Proven track record of leading diversity and inclusion initiatives, with a focus on creating a culture of inclusion and respect.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of professionalism and reliability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform diversity and inclusion initiatives.
