McCarthy Tétrault is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Diversity and Inclusion. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy that aligns with the firm's business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leaders and business teams on diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programs, events, and communications that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, best practices, and areas for improvement in diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to advance diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Manage and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees on diversity and inclusion-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in diversity and inclusion and make recommendations for implementation.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as diversity and inclusion, human resources, or business.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in diversity and inclusion, preferably in a professional services firm.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
