Workly Law is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will have one-two years of litigation experience and a law clerk designation would be an asset.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to litigation lawyers, including calendar management, document preparation, and correspondence management.
  • Assemble and organize litigation documents, including affidavits, mediation briefs, claims, defences, trial briefs, and motion records.
  • Conduct dictation and correspondence management with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Support the operations of the office, including intake of new clients and follow-up on accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
  • Law clerk designation is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in legal assistance, including familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols.
  • Familiarity with one key accounting and client management software.
