Job Summary:We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage our strategic and corporate customer relationships. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize profitable revenue, managing customer discounts and rebates, and presenting quarterly business reviews to each group.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize profitable revenue
- Manage customer discounts and rebates, including identifying areas where we may need to walk away from business if not fully aligned on profit goals
- Present quarterly business reviews to each group, ensuring group needs are met
- Track a budget for each group and total spend via marketing funds or outside of marketing funds
- Ensure all events are within Dechra's antibribery policy
- Bilingual English/French (Written and Oral)
- Knowledge and understanding of the operational and business side of both veterinary practices and the entities that oversee them
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Creative thinker with a competitive attitude and ability to adapt to change
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Tech literate in Microsoft
- Previous experience in Account Management (highly encouraged)
- Experience in managing large accounts at headquarters level (a plus)
- Understanding of basic legal terms/agreements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Bachelor's Degree
