About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the position of Manager, Total Rewards & HR Systems, responsible for overseeing compensation, benefits, and HRIS functions. The successful candidate will lead a team of HR professionals to deliver seamless data integration and data accuracy, while ensuring compliance with collective agreements, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members on compensation, benefits, and HRIS functions.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental meetings with key stakeholders to ensure adequate processes and procedures are in place.
  • Serve as primary contact for HRIS system matters, including system implications, modifications, software upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the hospital's job evaluation system to ensure a fair, equitable, and transparent compensation structure.
  • Lead annual external compensation benchmark exercise in partnership with a third-party consultant.
  • Prepare reports and analyses as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience in a unionized environment.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in compensation, benefits, and HRIS management.
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation principles and practices, payroll procedures, CRA guidelines, and benefits administration.
  • Experience in administering short-term and long-term disability.
What We Offer
