About the Role

As a Strategic Technology HR Partner at Definity, you will play a crucial role in driving business success by partnering with high-performing IT teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and rolling out various HR programs, driving projects aligned with team goals, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across all aspects of HR.

About the Job

As a key member of our HR team, you will collaborate with subject matter experts on the design, implementation, and sustainment of HR systems and processes that enable strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to drive toward the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Be a trusted advisor for senior leaders across all aspects of HR including employee relations, recruitment and staffing, compensation, talent review, organization design, resource planning, learning and career development.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within HR on the design, implementation, and sustainment of HR systems and processes that enable the successful achievement of strategic business goals.
  • Assess needs and barriers in order to drive business performance through development and delivery of people strategy and solutions.
Requirements
  • University degree or College diploma.
  • CHRL designation or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of progressively responsible and related experience in Human Resources including Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Organization Design, Compensation principles as well as policies and related legislation.
  • Prior experience in successfully working with high performing Information Technology teams.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry is an asset.
