Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Strategy Manager to join our team at Mackenzie Investments in Canada.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various compensation programs, including annual compensation processes, job evaluations, market analysis, and ad-hoc projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, configuration, and execution of the annual compensation review process.
  • Partner with the HR technology team to prepare compensation planning technology (SuccessFactors) for leaders to make salary and incentive recommendations.
  • Work with the HR technology team to ensure the integrity of employee data used during compensation planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
  • Conduct job analyses and evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades and ranges.
  • Leverage data to prepare and analyze reporting related to the job evaluation program.
Market Analysis

Conduct regular market analysis to assess the competitiveness of our compensation programs.

Ad-Hoc Projects

Lead and participate in special projects related to compensation, such as developing new compensation structures, incentive programs, or benefits analysis.

Salary Range:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced MS Excel skills, and proficiency in data analysis tools and HRIS systems.
