Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in North America. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the HR field, with a proven track record of success in HRBP roles in the U.S. and Ontario/Canada.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with the North American Studio Head to execute the global HR Strategy, focusing on developing and retaining top talent.
- Support the execution and delivery of leadership development programs.
- Coach internal managers on day-to-day leadership challenges, including resolving complex employee relations and work issues.
- Facilitate workshops on soft skills and lead learning and development initiatives.
- Analyze and evaluate compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Support the global performance review process to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with the HR team to identify other HR projects, build new procedures, processes, tools, and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in the HR field, with at least 3 years as an HRBP and 1 year minimum at Senior Level required.
- SPHR or CHRP certification required.
- Experience running HR development programs.
- Fluency in English (fluency in French is a plus).
- Caring personality with strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and initiative-taking abilities.
- High work ethic and self-motivation.
- Proactive, responsible, dynamic attitude and hands-on approach.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment will be a plus.
- Possession of a passion for the gaming industry and games.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Location:
This role is based in Austin, Texas, with occasional travel to Ontario when an office is opened.
