Strategic HR Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Business Partner to join our team at JK Capital Management Inc.
About the Role:
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a basic security clearance and work in English.
The role requires public transportation to be available for travel, and free parking is also provided. This is a great opportunity to advance your career as a human resources professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to drive business growth.
- Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to support business objectives.
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure fair compensation.
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to inform business decisions.
- Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote diversity and inclusion.
- Manage contracts and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
- Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Analyze employee data and information to inform business decisions.
- Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports to inform business decisions and track progress.
- Advise senior management on human resources-related matters.
- Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective team performance.
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
- Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruit and hire staff to meet business needs.
- Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures.
- Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
- Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful outcomes.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as human resources, business, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed recommendations.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Basic security clearance required.
