We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and seasoned HR Business Partner to join our Operations team on an 18-month contract. In this role, you will provide strategic HR leadership to all team members at our Mississauga plant by offering a full suite of HR consultation services that include employee relations, talent management, change management, and total rewards best practices. You will bring a partnership approach to everything you do, balancing employee needs with business objectives.

We are looking for someone with experience supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment who is passionate about improving work relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention across all our facilities in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnership: Collaborate with Plant Leadership to provide innovative HR solutions aligned with business objectives, working closely with the HR Center of Excellence to implement business and HR strategies.
  • Employee Relations: Guide management on employee relations issues, investigating complaints and policy non-compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to on-boarding for all teams at the Main Plant and Distribution Centre.
  • Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Oversee compliance with legislative requirements, resolving issues related to litigation, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • At least 5 years of expertise in employee relations and recruitment.
  • Sound knowledge of federal and provincial employment laws and regulations within a multi-location environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as an employee champion, management coach, and change agent.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
