About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, using technical manuals, guides, and other resources to find solutions.
  • User Training: Provide training and guidance to users on how to use our systems and applications, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of problems and solutions, making it easier for other technical support analysts to resolve similar issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other technical support teams to ensure seamless support and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in device drivers, networking software, networking hardware, intranet, internet, servers, software development, and wireless networks.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, judgment, and organization.
