About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing menus, ensuring that dishes are creative, appealing, and meet the highest culinary standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Possess a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, team player, and able to work well under pressure.
