Vice President, Business Development

This role will work within an assigned territory to generate sales and develop new business for Dynamic Funds. The successful candidate will lead by establishing long-lasting relationships, servicing existing clients, and prospecting for new ones.

  • The ideal candidate will manage a defined territory to increase sales and retain assets through their in-depth knowledge of our products, practice management skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • They will arrange one-on-one, group, and/or branch meetings with financial advisors to promote company products and services (20 meetings a week).
  • The role involves assigning daily tasks to the Inside Sales Representative and the Sales Associate for follow-up, scheduling and hosting events, roadshows, and manager meetings.
  • The successful candidate will also develop a strategic business plan for the year and review it quarterly with the team to increase sales from advisors within the territory.
  • They will maintain and service client relationships using territory rotations to increase sales and diversify our product usage.
  • The role requires making daily calls to clients who purchase or redeem above set targets, submitting expenses, and maintaining the overall budget for the region.
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented with strong time-management skills, have strong public speaking and presentation skills, and be able to keep up-to-date on past, current, and future trends in the financial services industry.
  • The position also involves mentoring the Inside Sales Representative through continuous coaching and feedback.
  • The successful candidate will present to advisors on new products, business-building ideas, and tax-planning strategies.
  • They will work extensively within a supportive team environment to meet and/or exceed company sales objectives.

Additional responsibilities include responding to client inquiries and following up on leads from the Inside Sales Representative, generating and developing new business relationships, and being involved in special projects as required.
