Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assurance Manager to join our Assurance & Advisory practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client engagements, providing assurance and accounting services to owner-managed businesses, and driving business growth through new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client engagements, including planning, execution, and delivery of assurance and accounting services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant professional standards, regulations, and corporate governance requirements, applying this knowledge to ensure high-quality services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, promoting the firm's expertise and services to clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated services and drive business growth.
Requirements
- Canadian CPA, CA designation.
- At least 4 years of public accounting experience in the audit function.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, IFRS, and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with MS Office, CaseWare, and tax return software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
