Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Assurance & Advisory practice. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for delivering value to clients by providing knowledge, ideas, and solutions for improving their business, assessing legal implications, and ensuring engagements are executed in accordance with the firm's methodologies and guidance, professional standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality services to clients, including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
  • Lead and coordinate the planning and management of assignments in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Secure and enhance relationships with senior client management.
  • Be a pro-active leader of teams, ensuring team members are properly managed and motivated.
  • Ensure staff needs, including training and development, are identified and acted upon.
  • Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions.
  • Develop long-term relationships and networks, both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • A Canadian CPA, CA designation.
  • At least 7 years of public accounting experience.
  • A strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • A proven ability to develop new business.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted business advisor.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
  • Experience with MS Office, CaseWare, and tax return software.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.
  • A strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
