Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our assurance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting and account reconciliation, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and relevant supporting schedules.
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
- Complete procedures for general accounting functions such as bank reconciliations, statistical and account analysis, inventory observations, and depreciation schedule updates.
- Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Manage multiple client requests efficiently and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of public accounting experience.
- CPA Designation or minimally CFE completion.
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
- Experienced with MS Office, CaseWare, and tax return software.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.
- A strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
- A high attention to detail.
