Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. They will also possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and relevant supporting schedules.
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
- Complete procedures for general accounting functions such as bank reconciliations, statistical and account analysis, inventory observations, and depreciation schedule updates.
- Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Manage multiple client requests efficiently and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of public accounting experience.
- CPA Designation or minimally CFE completion.
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
- Experienced with MS Office, CaseWare, and tax return software.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.
- A strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
- A high attention to detail.
