Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at St. Thomas' Anglican Church.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires approximately 1-7 months of experience in an office setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically.
  • Send and receive messages.
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Provide customer service.
  • File material in storage areas.
  • Label, file, and retrieve documents.
  • Organize and schedule office work.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Computer and technology knowledge, including social media, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Equipment and machinery experience, including scanners.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Free parking is available on site.
