We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Pro-Ply Custom Plywood Inc.

About the Job

This is a permanent position, offering 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.

The salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and visitors, providing them with assistance and information as needed.
  • Operate the switchboard or telephone system, answering calls and directing them to the relevant person or department.
  • Manage office supplies, ordering new stock as necessary.
  • Record and relay information, both verbally and in writing.
  • Send invoices and other correspondence to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and secure.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, such as filing and sorting mail.
  • Answer telephones and relay messages to colleagues.
  • Monitor mobile radios or telephones, staying alert to any important communications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and resolving issues efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar field is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and electronic mail.
