Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Establishment Operations Manager to join our team at ONroute. As an integral part of our management team, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our dining establishments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume restaurants with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, employee development, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for leading a team of 16-20 staff members, overseeing daily operations, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer experience.

Apart from your exceptional leadership skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, vendors, and customers. Your expertise in MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as a point-of-sale system, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for employees and customers alike.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation strategies to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, providing resolution and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Point-of-sale system expertise.
