Job Summary:
The Senior Security Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the Emergency Response Team and overseeing all aspects of site security operations, fire prevention, and emergency response at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. This role involves ensuring compliance with policies and procedures set by TMMC, Securitas Canada Ltd., and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure all security operations and administrative directives conform to policies and procedures
• Lead the Emergency Response Team during emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, spills, and threats
• Conduct scene assessments and coordinate responses with local emergency services as required
• Perform comprehensive handovers to ensure pertinent information is passed on to oncoming team members
• Review and maintain shift reports, payroll documents, and statistics
• Delegate scheduling calls and update site schedules as needed
• Assign weekly/monthly inspections and audits
• Provide relief and general support for breaks and lunch
• Conduct training simulations to maintain continuous professional development of team members
• Mentor and assist in the training and improvement of new and existing team members

Qualifications:
• Grade 12 education
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Law & Security, Police Foundations, or equivalent diploma from a recognized college, or progressive leadership and management experience with site training in S/TM, C/TM, and FPI roles
• NFPA 1001 Fire Fighter level I & II certification from a recognized college, or Introduction to Interior and Exterior Fire Fighting from Lambton College
• IMS 100 certification
• First Responder (Canadian Red Cross) certification within 6 months of hire date
• Valid G class Driver's License

Requirements:
• Willingness to work at both TMMC locations as required
• Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training within 3 months of commencement
• Mental Health First Aid Certificate within 3 months of commencement
• IMS 200 certification within 12 months of commencement
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and use computer software applications
• Ability to display clear and quick thinking under pressure, while maintaining a calm demeanor
• Competent in using Outlook, Excel, Word, Lenel, and PowerPoint
• Successful completion of AODA training
• May be subject to a suitability interview by the Employer

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $28.99 to $29.28 per hour, based on the location and job requirements.
