We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Metro Shuttle Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to maintain accurate records.
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines to optimize productivity.
- Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely meetings.
- Manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to ensure prompt communication.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a well-stocked office.
- Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations to facilitate business trips.
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas to provide excellent customer service.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
Work Environment
- Permanent position.
- English language required.
- 30 to 35 hours per week.
