Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort Ltd. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
    • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
    • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Assist with clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Support Services
    • Assist guests with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility or arranging for special requests.
    • Provide customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is an asset.
Work Environment

Our hotel is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service. As a Hotel Front Desk Associate, you will be working in a team-oriented environment, with opportunities for growth and development.

Language

The primary language spoken in our hotel is English.

Work Hours

We are seeking a candidate who is available to work 30-40 hours per week.
