We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort Ltd. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Greet and register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Front Desk Operations: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Support: Assist clients/guests with special needs, provide customer service, and offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Support for Diversity and Inclusion: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, Indigenous people, and people with disabilities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
