Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at The Balmer Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and answer telephone calls and relay messages.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance to guests with special needs, contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, and offer exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, standing for extended periods.
