About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Growth Strategist to join our team, focusing on driving business growth in the Defence and National Security space. With extensive experience in cloud sales and a proven track record of success, you will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to accelerate revenue growth and expand market share.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and passion for cloud computing to make a meaningful impact in the Defence and National Security sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share in the Defence and National Security sector.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales leadership, solutions architects, public policy, security, compliance, marketing, and professional services teams, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of go-to-market strategies.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of work products that maximize revenue potential and accelerate adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Defence and National Security space.
  • Leverage industry relationships and market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities, and develop business development strategies to capitalize on these insights.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive-level relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, sales, and negotiation skills, with a strong track record of closing high-value and high-profile deals.
  • Strong ownership and bias for action, with the ability to internalize goals and work independently to create real plans to achieve them.
  • Strong analytical orientation, with comfort using analytical tools and making data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and create appropriate tactical plans.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in parallel.
