Calibrate is pleased to represent Fasken, a premier international law firm with over 950 lawyers, to recruit a Director of Strategic Pursuits.

This strategic role will have a firmwide scope and will report to the Head of Marketing and Business Development.

The Director will be a strong business development leader, orchestrating the development and execution of a firmwide approach to strategic pursuits.

This position will have a significant impact on the firm's business development efforts and will be responsible for leading key cross-office and practice strategic pursuits.

The Director will work closely with regional proposal resources to deliver high-caliber proposals that meet the firm's business objectives.

This role may be based in a variety of office locations, but the specific location is not specified.

    • Develop metrics and dashboards to track proposal success, identify trends, and provide strategic insights to senior management.

Credentials + Expertise:
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, communications) required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years in proposal development, ideally in professional services or legal environments, with extensive experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional RFPs.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing hybrid teams.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, using strong communication skills to influence and achieve pursuit objectives.
