Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Corporate Strategy: Work closely with senior executives to define and execute the company's overall strategy, including the development of annual business plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects, including business case development, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Coach and Develop Team Members: Lead the coaching, development, and performance management of analysts and managers in the strategy and corporate development team.
  • Stay Current on Industry Trends: Monitor and analyze key industry trends and developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform the company's strategic direction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CA/CFA/CBV or other similar professional designation considered an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in management/strategy consulting or strategy-related roles within a large, fast-paced organization.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, solid attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively synthesize and present information to relevant stakeholders.
