About the Role:

This HR & Payroll Administrator position at Bayshore HealthCare presents an exciting opportunity to leverage administrative expertise in a hybrid environment. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all HR and payroll inquiries, ensuring seamless coordination with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Prominent tasks include managing daily administrative duties, maintaining accuracy and compliance in reports, and resolving discrepancies in payroll processing independently.">
  • You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of necessary forms and processes related to benefits and payroll, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes as needed.">
  • Collaborating with HR business partners, you will accurately report terminations, disciplinary actions, leave of absences, WSIB claims, and legal cases.">
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including professional registrations, performance reviews, and continuing education documentation, within PeopleSoft.">
  • Accurately record and maintain all disciplinary actions, terminations, leave of absences, HR cases, and other relevant events.">
  • Manage the BSRxHR and BSRx Payroll inbox by filing documents and addressing inquiries according to Bayshore policies and procedures.">
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries, redirecting them to the appropriate contact when necessary.">
  • Assist in converting agency staff to BSRx employees by completing steps in Taleo and ensuring all required documentation is filed correctly.">
  • Coordinate and schedule New Employee Orientation, conduct follow-ups, and review onboarding documents for new hires.">
  • Evaluate and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of onboarding and offboarding processes, collaborating with Hiring Managers and other departments as needed.">
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR Management Systems such as PeopleSoft and Taleo, ensuring accurate employee profiles.">
  • Handle high-complexity full-cycle payroll processes involving multiple provinces and payroll cycles.">
  • Verify and balance payroll reports prior to submission, ensuring accuracy in employee entitlements like vacation, overtime, and holiday pay.">
  • Advise on payroll-related legislative requirements and handle garnishee remittance, analysis, and reconciliation.">
  • Generate compliance reports on licenses, work permits, and contract end dates monthly.">
  • Support HR initiatives, provide assistance with recruitment, and offer training to enhance HR and payroll processes.">
  • Adhere to Bayshore policies and procedures, actively participate in quality activities, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System.">
  • Ensure confidentiality of client and corporate information, restricting discussions to appropriate Bayshore personnel.">
  • Participate in proactive Joint Health & Safety activities, notifying the immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.">

Requirements:

This role demands strong organizational and critical thinking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within strict timelines.

A successful candidate should possess post-secondary education/certificate in Human Resources Management or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative or similar role. Experience with multi-province payroll processing is highly valued.

Possession of CHRP designation and/or PCP designation is considered an asset, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of current legislation.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience, in addition to comprehensive benefits offered by Bayshore HealthCare.
