- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our sales team in Morrisburg, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling general insurance policies for personal lines coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Sell general insurance policies to the public by acting as the initial contact with the applicant.
- Obtain all necessary information from potential clients to provide accurate quotations for coverage and premiums.
- Place risks with appropriate markets, obtain and assist in completing applications for insurance, arrange and collect premiums, and forward applications to insurance companies.
- E nsure abeyances are in place, followed up within a reasonable time to confirm issuance and receipt of policies, check for accuracy, and send to clients.
- F ollow up with clients to ensure complete satisfaction and finalize the sales process.
- R emain in occasional contact with clients via other service team members (CSR) to maintain client satisfaction and provide further products as required to build a long-term client base and portfolio.
- R esponsible for ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable and any other areas of concern on the portfolio.
- Must have exceptional sales and customer service skills.
- Must be sales-oriented and have a very good knowledge of risk and insurance products involved.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with clients in stressful and contentious situations.
- Acts in a professional manner at all times and maintains a position of trust and confidentiality.
- Acts in an open, respectful, honest, and helpful manner with all team members, clients, and other staff.
- Must be willing and eligible to obtain a RIBO license.
