At McDougall Insurance and Financial, we are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our sales team in Morrisburg, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling general insurance policies to the public by acting as the initial contact with applicants.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Selling general insurance policies to the public by obtaining necessary information from potential clients to provide accurate quotations and premiums.
- Placing risks with appropriate markets, obtaining applications, arranging premium payments, and forwarding applications to insurance companies for binding coverage.
- Ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable and addressing any concerns related to portfolios.
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of risk and insurance products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to handle stressful and contentious situations.

- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
